LONG TERM LOT 2

A free shuttle van drops you off in front of the Terminal and operates between Lot 2 and the Airline Terminal every ten minutes 7 days a week, including holidays.

Accepted forms of payment:
Cash and Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express,and Discover Card) are accepted for payment at all parking lots.

Motorcycle Parking
Please see parking attendant in the Long Term booth for instructions on free motorcycle parking, some restrictions apply. Motorcycles are not allowed to use pedestrian walkways to enter or exit the lot.

Accessible parking is available in all lots.
If there are no spots available please call 805.967.4566 or see the parking attendant at the exit booth to arrange for parking in the Short-term lot at Long-term parking rates.

As a courtesy to the customer we offer to honor LT rates ($12.00 per day) at Short Term Lot. This special arrangement, however, must be pre-arranged (before traveling) for multiple reasons including, but not limited to:
1. The paystation (at the ST exit) cannot manipulate/change the rates and an attendant MUST assist the customer at the exit.
2. For auditing purposes, each authorization to park in ST at LT rates must be properly documented by a Supervisor or Manager.

Why fly out of Santa Barbara instead of Los Angeles?

When you fly from SBA you get to your vacation quicker, you are not dealing with a 2-4 hour drive to LAX, plus the parking, plus the noise, plus the long lines...need we say more? 5 major airlines, 5 non-stop flights and over 200 one-stops to anywhere in the world you want to fly!

Santa Barbara Airport also has shorter lines than LAX and is easier to navigate. You can save yourself a two hour drive by flying locally.

How do I get to the Airport?

Highway 101 from the south:
Take the UCSB/Airport exit at Hwy. 217 and exit at Sandspit Road, turn right at the stop sign and follow that road for half of a mile. The Airline Terminal will be on the left at the elbow in the road.

Highway 101 from the north:
Take the Fairview exit, make a right turn onto Fairview, towards the Ocean. Follow Fairview Until you reach the elbow in the road. Turn right at the elbow onto Fowler Road. The terminal will be directly in front of you. The Airline Terminal entrance is on the right in less than a half mile.

Passenger paging may be accomplished by calling the appropriate airline 800 number ( Airlines ) or the Airport Security Operations Center at 805.681.4803 (paging only - no arrival or departure information).

What is the local telephone number for the Airport Administration Office?
The telephone number to speak with City of Santa Barbara Airport staff is 805.967.7111. The Airport Department Administration office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The Administration building located at 601 Firestone Road will be closed every other Friday and on the alternating Fridays the office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Security Operations Center (805.681.4803) hours remain the same; 24 hours, 7 days a week.

What time does the Airline Terminal open?
The Airline Terminal daily hours are 4:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. (or when the last flight arrives). If a flight is booked or delayed causing it to arrive or depart during the hours when the Airline Terminal is usually closed, the Airline Terminal will remain open to accommodate those passengers.

How do I locate "Lost & Found" items?
Luggage or other items lost on an aircraft are handled by the individual airlines only, please refer to the Airlines for airline 800 numbers. Items lost in and around the airline terminal building or parking lots are handled by Airport Patrol through the Security Operations Office. They can be reached by calling 805.681.4803.

How do I obtain reservation and airfare information?
By calling the airline 800 number for reservations & information ( see the Airlines Page ), by contacting the airlines online, or by contacting a local travel agency. Travel agents are trained professionals with a vast amount data at their fingertips regarding all the airlines and specific destination information. See the "Travel" section listings in the yellow pages of the telephone book.

How do I find out when a certain flight arrives or departs?
By calling the airline on which the passenger was booked. See the Airline Information page for airline 800 number listings. Also, a complete Flight Schedule (not live) can be found on this website as well as FlightView.com .

Does the Airport have an aircraft operations curfew?
No, the National Noise Abatement Act of 1990 prevents the airport from instituting a curfew on aircraft operations. However, the Airport has a voluntary curfew asking noisy aircraft not to operate between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Is curb side check-in available?
At peak times we have a curb side assistant that can help take your bags to the check in counter at the terminal. However, they can not check you or your bags in, you must go to the counter for that.

There are free baggage carts available in front of the Terminal.

Who is allowed to enter beyond the screening check points?
Only ticketed passengers with boarding passes are allowed in the a gate area. However you may receive a temporary pass from a gate agent in order to escort an unaccompanied minor or a person who is unable to proceed on their own.
